The Slowdown was born from years behind the chair, real conversations, and a simple question:
Why does connection always have to revolve around alcohol?
As a stylist for over a decade, I’ve watched what happens when people finally slow down—when they feel seen, heard, and confident. The chair has always been more than just hair to me. It’s where people talk about their lives, their struggles, their dreams, and their growth. I saw how powerful community could be in those moments, and I knew there had to be more space for that outside of the salon chair and beyond the bar scene.
I wanted to create a place where:
• You don’t have to drink to belong
• You can still go out, feel stylish, and connect
• You can take care of your appearance and your mindset
• You can grow—personally and creatively—at your own pace
